Backup & Recovery destination server

Remote servers that are added as snapshot targets are called Destination servers. To add one, click the “Add server” button.

You will be asked for the following information:

• IP address/domain: provide IP address or a hostname associated with your Destination server.
  Note: In case the snapshot target is an HA cluster, it is highly recommended to use Virtual IP configured on a Pool. It allows the connection to be stable even after exporting the pool to the other node.
• Port: 40000 is set by default. This value should not be changed, unless explicitly asked by the Support Team.
• Password: to establish the connection, it is required to provide the administrator password to the remote server.
• Description: This field is optional. Provide a short description of your server to identify it in the future.

Destination servers configured here will be available during the Destination configuration step of the Replication task wizard.

If you wish to remove the Destination server click the “Remove” button. Remember to remove all Backup tasks related to this server beforehand!
