- Here you can enter a short description of your server.
Server name and comment rules:
- please make sure the server name is unique in your network
- select a server name that clearly identifies your new server
- please do not use spaces and special characters such as ~!@#$^&()+[]{}*;:'".,%|<>?/\=`_
- server name cannot consist of digits only
- comment is not displayed on some systems
Hostname
Hostname is one of the names used to identify this machine. It is primarily used for internal processes.
Hostname needs to start with a lowercase letter; the other characters may consist of lowercase letters, digits, minus signs and dots.
Note
It is not possible to change the hostname while the failover service is running.
Note
Changing hostname requires a reboot.
DNS settings
This function allows you to enter DNS addresses. Please use semicolons to separate addresses.
