The MPIO disks function lists all the configured MPIO devices (disks which are available through more than one path will be automatically configured as an MPIO device and will be also listed).
For each MPIO device the available and currently used paths, as well as the MPIO status are visible.
Available MPIO statuses: Pending setup, OK, Unknown.
Pending setup - postponed until the Pool is exported and later until the Pool is imported or the system restarted (in case of a cross SAS cluster - for moving the resources (Pool) to the second node and back).
Unknown - MPIO configuration present in the system but not active
OK - MPIO device configured and running
MPIO devices can be collectively edited (by selecting specific devices) and using the “Edit selected” button or separately by using “Edit disk” from the form in which “Remove failed paths”, “Disk details” and “Delete” functions are available.
Important:
In case of using remote disks for cluster over Ethernet functionality, the MPIO devices configuration will be postponed until the system is restarted.
