Mutual CHAP user is a 2-way authentication. Only iSCSI initiators that can authenticate themselves with a user id of "initiator name" and a password of "target secret" can now discover this iSCSI target, and conversely, the iSCSI target can only discover iSCSI initiators that can authenticate themselves with a user id of "initiator name" and a password of "target secret".

When connecting to a target, advanced connection features allow specific control of a particular connection. 

To use, specify a name and target secret (user password). These user informations have to be set on the initiator, for the configuration to use the Mutual CHAP user.

To confirm the Mutual CHAP user, press the APPLY button.

NOTE :

Password must consist of at least 12 characters and cannot contains whitespace characters.

IMPORTANT : 

Make sure, that mutual CHAP user is different than any other CHAP user.

Mutual CHAP user password must be different than any password other CHAP users.
