The following advanced settings can ONLY be changed if advised by Scale Logic Technical Support.
These variables adjust several cluster behaviors, which are described in a more detailed way below.
*Time before declaring a token is lost:
Default 10000ms
This variable sets in milliseconds how much time would elapse until a token loss is declared after not receiving a new token. This is the time spent on detecting a failure of a processor in the current configuration. Restarting the configuration takes about 50 milliseconds in addition to this timeout.
*The number of token retransmissions before a new configuration is formed:
Default 10
This variable limits how many token retransmissions could be done without restarting the configuration.
*Waiting time for join messages in the membership protocol:
Default 50ms
This timeout limits in milliseconds how much time can elapse while waiting for join messages in the membership protocol.
*Base UDP mcast port:
Default 5405
This variable sets the UDP port number for cluster to communicate. If you have multiple clusters on the same network and you are using the same multicast address, please configure the multicast ports with a 'Space'.
