This is a sumarize of the hard disk detailed informations. You will find here :

  • Name - presented by the typical names ( i.e. sda, sdb,sdc...)
  • ID - the full name that identifies the hard drive
  • Path - name of the path that identifies the hard drive
  • Model - name of the model that idetifies the hard drive
  • Serial number - an individual serial number of the hard drive
  • Size - size of the hard drive
  • State - status of the hard drive. There are 6 possible statuses :
    • DEGRADEDOne or more top-level devices is in the degraded state because they have become offline. Sufficient replicas exist to keep functioning
    • FAULTEDOne or more top-level devices is in the faulted state because they have become offline. Insufficient replicas exist to keep functioning
    • OFFLINE - The device was explicity taken offline by the "zpool offline" command
    • ONLINEThe device is online and functioning
    • <span style="font-size:small;"REMOVED - The device was physically removed while the system was running
    • UNAVAILThe device could not be opened
