This function allows You to modify settings or the earlier created target. You can modify :
- Target Name
- Target name can contain only : a-z, 0-9. Only a special charaters . : - are allowed. The name also cannot start or end with a special character or contain special characters only.
- SCSI ID
- Only 0-9 and a-f can be used. A SCSI ID name can contain also big letters. A SCSI ID has exactly 16 signs.
- LUN
- A LUN name can contain 0-9, and also special characters. It is highly recommended to use only values 0-9.
- ACCESS MODE
- by default the READ-WRITE access mode is set. You can change it READ ONLY access mode.
It is also possible to enable or disable authentication restrictions, like :
- CHAP USERS AUTHENTICATION
- MUTUAL CHAP USER
- TARGET IP ACCESS RESTRICTIONS
