The server can send an e-mail notification to the administrator in case of any significant events, critical errors, warnings, etc. Using this feature You have to setup the :
- E-mail address from which notifications will be send.
- Account name
- Account name for the e-mail address from which notifications will be sent.
- Password
- Password for the account provided above.
- SMTP Server
- SMTP server name.
- SMTP Port
Port number for the SMTP server. Default number port is 25.
Please note that with an encrypted connection, some Internet service providers use port 587 instead of 25.
- Destination e-mail
- Administrator e-mail address to which notifications will be sent.
If you want to send a test message, please check the Send test message option. If you want to encrypt e-mail notifications, check the Encrypted option. E-mail notifications are encrypted with the TLS protocol.
