With the Share protocols function you can enable/disable the NFS service or SMB service of a given share and set individual options for the share (in addition to global protocol settings).
NOTE:
- Changing these settings is possible from the edited share, in its Option dropdown menu.
- In case the share is inactive, access to settings will be available after activation of this share.
NFS service:
In order to get access to the share please make sure you include the correct server name or IP address for Read/Write access IPs.
You can set the following additional options::
- Insecure connections,
- Synchronous data record,
- Insecure lock requests,
- All squash,
- No root squash.
SMB service:
In case of SMB settings the following options are available for shares to set or change:
- Read only,
- Visible,
- Handling large directories.
- User access permissions:
- Guest (anyone without password),
- Users with password.
- Advanced:
- Inherit owner,
- Inherit permissions.
In order to save new settings click the Apply button.
