Connection to UPS can be configured in Console by pressing CTRL+ALT+W and choosing option 4. UPS Configuration. Enter settings according to your hardware specification:&lt;br /&gt;

:The timeout defines the time between a power failure and the moment the system shuts down.&amp;lt;br/&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Timeout - Battery Limit&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;lt;br/&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
:This option enables you to sustain the system as long as the battery holds (the system will shut down when the battery charge drops to 5% or when there are 3 minutes left to total battery discharge).&amp;lt;br/&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

:&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;APC&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; - This option works for all Smart UPS models and dumb UPSes with cables that support low battery detection (only testing can determine this point).&amp;lt;br/&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
